Product Info: WorkTough Chukka Boot
The WorkTough Chukka Boot has got a padded collar and padded bellows tongue, dual density polyurethane sole, steel midsole, antistatic.
S1 – Safety Basic to EN ISO 20345:2011. S1 footwear, in addition to the 200 Joule toe protection is classed as antistatic footwear, meaning that you are protected from nasty static shocks that static charge, often built up in the body because of certain types of clothing, seating materials and climate factors can produce. S1 footwear also has a sole resistant to fuel oil and energy absorption in the heel.
Antistatic – Reducing, removing, or preventing the buildup of static electricity.
Dual Density – Allows for longer wear time with less fatigue, as well as increased shock absorbency and energy return.
Steel Midsole – Can resist penetration of 1100 Newtons.
SRC – Tested to the highest level of slip resistance. An SRC slip resistance rating means footwear has passed an advanced European slip resistance test to standard EN ISO 13287:2011. The sole unit is tested for slip resistance on ceramic tile wetted with dilute soap solution and on smooth steel with glycerol. Implementing SRC rated footwear is one practical measure that could help manage slip hazards alongside other environmental and training techniques.
